As you progress through the learning path you will be presented with hands-on labs to apply your knowledge that you have learned from the courses.

Exam Description

The AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification validates the ability to design and deploy well-architected solutions on AWS that meet customer requirements. This new exam version (SAA-C02) includes updated content across all domains as well as new objectives aligned with AWS platform innovations in categories such as databases, cost optimization, and security. AWS Certification regularly updates this exam to reflect the rapid pace of innovation on the AWS platform and the latest in best practices for architecting on the AWS Cloud.

Candidates have the option to take the previous version (SAA-C01) through March 22, 2020, or the new version (SAA-C02) beginning on March 23, 2020. Candidates can prepare with optional resources such as an updated practice test as well as a learning path and comprehensive ramp-up guide for the architect role.

 Exam Format

  • Format: Multiple choice, multiple answers
  • Type: Associate
  • Delivery Method: The testing center or online proctored exam
  • Time: 130 minutes to complete the exam
  • Language: Available in English, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese

The scoring is based out of 1000, with a minimum passing score of 720 (72%).
